1) Like VFP, a full-stack environment -- develop, deploy, against built-in database or 3rd party databases.
2) Create web/tablet/phone apps that use PWA (Progressive Web App) features. PWA is bigger than just getting ride of the URL bar on the browser: service workers.
3) Like VFP, no need to learn separate technologies, but able to be extended with third-party components/libraries. Includes report writer, graphs/charts, dashboard capability.
4) Able to be programmed in Python and JavaScript (and extra points for being able to program in VFP), with the ability to make cross-language calls/returns.
5) Native UTF-8 everything (to avoid the VFP language gymnastics).
6) Choice of Code editor (VSCode an option) integrated into the development UI.
The above describes Lianja V5.4 (in beta). V5.3 has all the above except PWA.
