Yes I can confirm this. I found this just before you posted again and was updating the message to reflect this. My default setting for all my programs is SET SAFETY OFF in my base class for my forms (it is also set in my config.fpw for the VFP design time). My program controls the overwriting of files (in the above case the overwriting of the tag name) and not VFP with SET SAFETY ON (I would not want that VFP generated message to be displayed in any of my applications). This is why I have never seen this before. I am not sure if there would be other places that this would be impacted with SET SAFETY ON rather than SET SAFETY OFF.
