I am using Excel which is part of the MS 365. However, I cannot duplicate the problem this morning. I created a couple of text xlsx files (using SaveToTableWorkBook() and SaveToTableWorkBookEx()) and both xlsx files can be open without an error. Must be something yesterday in my PC environment.
I will keep you posted if I find anything more about the issue. Just in case, attached is the ZIP file with the test DBF.
