>Over here, we just had our election. The left wing incumbent won an historic majority and invited the opposition leader to attend the celebration party for a drink and a chat. The losing leader went. Why? Because civility is never "over" and being respectful is a reflection of your character, not theirs. Of course this was one of the good examples famously set by the US once upon a time. On that note I give up and sign off by wishing you every success in your upcoming election.
Well, congratulations.
If that was the "parthian shot", I can do better.
I fully expect that 2 years from now, when we have a new president (whomever he or she might be), you'll be supporting that person. Because that's what you do, you support the incumbents.
Just like Aslasken in Ibsen's "Enemy of the People", you preach moderation and deference and temperance for whoever is in charge. Regardless of facts. Evidenced by the many UT posts in the summer of 2011 when you tried to justify a load of excreta data as "proof" of someone engaging in a false/dupe account.
Adios.
