Thomas, with DPI scaling, consider the use of VFPA http://www.baiyujia.com/vfpadvanced/f_vfpa_about.asp.

Your problem is only a part of the hickup.
- My VFP is completely ,mixed up if I run c't ac'tivAid (dino as well) DPI aware.
- reports in 90 mode will not work

VFPA runs well enough ...
