If you (or somebody else) implements something along those lines and is willing to share code, ideas and some debug effort, I'd be interested. I had done a lot of roboting IE4 - IE6, but in the last decade this was hampered by IE getting hidebound. Realizing a few basic classes for hooking special events, executing/injecting JS code, reading/modifying DOM or browser state via added or configurable biz rules in a special control, window or form via wrapped Chromium including COM interface my main target - this might evolve into 2 interfaces cef/Control for control side, vfp for persisting/backend side, if Python (Beautiful Soup, ScraPy) or Javascript biz code needs to be thrown into the mix. Another option would be to have a subset of Selenium to exchange/optimize that mode of operation.
