I do use GoFish a lot. But for this case, I don't think it will be applicable. First, I will have to test my approach on my own PC, then on a couple of customers, and then start implementing it on all reports. I am guessing I have about 200 reports in the application. The goal is to make the application be ready for using old (SQL Server) or newer (SQL Server Native Client 11.0) drivers.
