Hi Tamar,

I set the record source just after the grid is added to the form - this is that form where I dynamically add "blocks" of controls (they are in a container). But then the record source does not change for the life of the container. After displaying the grid, focus is put onto another control outside of the grid. The user has to explicitly click "Add Row" to add a row to the grid and then at that point, I add a record to the view.

I will try adding a record to the view *before* the grid is bound to the view to see if that helps.
