I still occasionally have caffeinated products but they no longer give me hay fever, I suspect levels in my body fat stay low. OTOH its temporary stimulatory effects are stronger than before :)

This never occurred to me....I starting having allergy problems at age 25. I attributed it to moving to Atlanta (and that still might have been a big factor), but I continued having problems even when I moved back north.
I starting drinking coffee regularly around that time.
I am a regular "2 cups per day" of dark roast, and I drink a diet drink with zero sugar but a good amount of caffeine. Still have allergy issues to this day. Even though I went cold turkey on sugar and most carbs, I could not give up coffee. More power to those who can, but I couldn't....the morning headaches would be too much
