Very broad question. I have a client who has a system by serving software called SurgiServer 2000 that is a DOS based system. I have a need to interact with that system, mostly to pull data out. They think the system is uses Btrieve files. Now here are my questions:

1. Is there a way to tell for sure if they are bTrieve files? They have file extentions such as RDL,BTR,TBL and SDT.

2. I have just ordered the btrieve library advertised in Foxpro Advisor from SofTech Microsystems. Has anyone used this library before? Any all comments greatly appreciated.

3. Last but not least. Is there anyone out there who has already written an interface to serving software products? If so, please contact me.

Thanks in advance
