Your pics looks pretty good and clear.

For VFPA and DPI - I never groked what he is saying, but then the whole problem is more or less ugly.
As far as I understand, the OS might try to scale the windows into something one might read - this is the scaling to n%
Or one might scale according to the dpi of the screen, this is unscaled by windows
I guess most users will use the windows setting, or even never notice it.
So for me, the VFPA puts the fox into something useable, except problems with move / resize frames on monitors with different scaling then the main monitor.

So, I'm a bit confused for what of the problems you are working.
Ah, and what DPI you are reading is something I'm curious all the time.
