Having made enough money to make it not a problem (neither lacking nor requiring bodyguards, that is) makes most of the problems seem trivial. Actually, now you made me think of it - I don't have problems. Travel? Yup, I'd like to, and we did travel as much as my then job permitted (I worked from home, 2002-2019, last dozen years with a flexible schedule) and now it's that travel is simply unfeasible. It's not only the corona, it's that our middle daughter is a widow almost three years now, and with four children (the twins turned three just two d... overyesterday)(you understand why you need to have such a word), she came to live with us, so it's a different kind of life. There's seven of us in the house.
I've discovered that I don't know my country enough, there are so many interesting places I never visited, so... jets, no thanks. Just the sight of a security check would be enough to dissuade me from flying. Also, going abroad, while it was possible, we did have plans for that - the abroad is an hour's drive away - will have to wait. I used to have more stamps in my passport than you had parking tickets... may do again, but then again I'd just get in the car and go.
Other than that, I now have the time for all those things I never had the time for, which means very few of them get actually done - prioritizing is also on the list of things I don't have to do anymore :). So I do a bit of this, bit of that, mostly things that don't ever have to get finished, like doing things with the house or writing the autobiography... And even the code that I write nowadays is the writing tool for the latter.
The one thing which gets done on time is moonshine. I've just packed a bottle to carry for tonight's sitting - wife, me, two friends. We do that on mondays.
