VFP6: Have a local view of a table. In a form I have a grid with this view as the source. I want the view to include deleted records, so I have SET DELETED OFF when I open or requery the view. HOWEVER, in the view the delete marker is not present on the deleted records. So setting deleted back on does no good because all records now display.

If I leave deleted ON all the time, the view correctly excludes previously deleted records. If I delete a record in the view, all is well.

Why is this? TIA!
