>>This retroactive banning of most of the history is Fahrenheit 451 all over. The six politically correct authors they manage to collect will be mediocre at best, moronic in the median.

>Ban history and you destroy the one's connection to the past. Orwell foresaw it: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” - 1984. We are well on the way and I see no way to stop it. History repeats.
It's funny (in a funny way) how each of the positive movements get perverted and inverted. We wanted sex revolution, and instead of humane relationship between genders we got porn industry taking most of the bandwidth. We wanted equality in substance, we got political correcture, purge of language, and now of literature. We wanted ecology to revert the bad effects of industrial pollution, we got carbon tax and the fat cats buying land in third countries and taking carbon credits. We wanted the web to be truth for all, we got all kinds of shit except truth. Truth is now an ugly word.
Midas in reverse, indeed.
