>>"The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false": if everything that follows in that article is based on that, the foundation is looking pretty sandy...

“The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so,” the document for the “Equitable Math” toolkit reads. “Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict.”

Apart from the grammatical error, it appears that teaching that 2+2=4 perpetuates the evils of objectivity and fear of open conflict. Sounds terrible, so lets not teach kids anything like that any more. Instead, the answer to the 2+2 puzzle ought to start with full discussion of the ways that symbols like + and = perpetuate intolerance, implying that 2s must sacrifice their individuality to participate in a merged construct that doesn't care about them.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
