If not going for the joke, question if more RAM left for cache is better than RamDisk, I can say that discrete RamDisk (not cached) got more speed / less runtime, perhaps due to the fact that W access still needed to be flushed out to old style HD - but perhaps other factors as well. Disc cache location was also big difference later in VM usage, depending how and where disks were made available to the VM.
