I have a form which when you go into it fails to set a relation between the parent and child records (child in a grid) properly.

When I test from an app it's fine, when I test from the exe it shows an additional record until the user clicks on the form.

This doesn't happen when new records are added and the form is already open, only when the form is initially opened.

Any hints on why the app and exe perform differently??
