>>I don't know exactly the two week period you reference but, wait until you see the two week numbers for the period starting 7 March and ending yesterday, 20 March.

>(Source of data is here, I've found it to be as good as any data available - several websites out there are using it, it's one of the few that provides county-level data across the U.S. )

I get my numbers from here: https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/ ( I don't think Cuomo has any influence on the site)
The figures you show closely match the figures I have for 4 and 3 weeks ago, I don't know how anyone would get accurate figures for the week ending 20 March, yet. If you look on the site shown above it shows 0 deaths on the 19th and 1 death on the 20th. I'm sure those numbers will be adjusted up on Monday. It usually takes about 10 days for stable numbers to show up. After that adjustments are usually ones and twos.

>(In fairness, California's case counts have dropped even more sharply than Florida's, though their death count the last month when adjusted for population is much higher than Florida's. But as a general statement, the direction of both states in the last several weeks is better, let's just hope it continues. )
