>Whatever you use to resize them is probably saving them in some better format. I've noticed that some software, namely the image control in Fox, has a problem with some png files, ranging between "won't display" and outright app crash, perhaps including a c0000005 sometimes. I've long ago decided (in my screen savior app, downloadable here) to simply delete such records and not try to display such files... at least for trappable errors.
