First, thank you for your message.
My configuration file is not config.fpw but some other .xml file. But you are correct; this file is where the
\\servername\appfolder\ is specified.

This is what I need to understand as to how they do it. I actually sent a message to the IT asking them how they run the application from the folder specified differently.
I also wonder if it would be better if they run the application from \\servername\appfolder\ instead of \\servername.organization.healthcare\appfolder\. Because the only person who has problems - entries in the error log file - is the one who run from the latter name.
Hopefully IT will reply.
