Surprisingly common experience IMHO, mitigated by getting the dependencies out of Shared or System folders like Syswow with who knows what arcane UAC/security policies, into an app folder where you can specify required privs. Strange issues can still be caused by what used to be called "dll hell" if other apps' installers mess with privs or version of shared dlls or Activex also needed by your app. You can even put the apps and dependencies on an application server with read/execute privs for authorized AD group and nothing special needed on the local PC; we've had thousands of machines accessing apps without problem this way. You can compress your app for efficiency using Refox or VFP C++ Compiler.

Re specified dlls: not all of Craig's flls need all 3, but might as well distribute them for completeness.

Good luck, weird access issues are no good because some or even all of the mud sticks to you...
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
