>>Interesting (and smart). Any Sys() to modify such RETRY-similar behaviour ?
Yep, there's an array of sys() functions to set retry count. E.g. sys(9015) for file delete, sys(9047) for file move, sys(9016) for create directory, sys(9048) for pack dbf, sys(9049) for delay in milliseconds after close file.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
