I just checked...current cost is $702 Canadian which is currently about $455 American. Now, I could get a lower price from my sales rep, but not enough to cover the cost of shipping it to you and the hassle of the cross-border stuff (I've never shipped anything to the USA). So, in short, that seems like a good price, but I think a local shop might be able to beat it...I don't know what American distributor prices would be...

I also only checked one supplier. I could check others and maybe get it cheaper. But I think you should go local. I would sell a piece of software and make $20 and be happy to have a new customer. There should be a local shop that feels the same.

If someone wants a piece of software, I can usually meet or beat any price I've seen and it would normally only take me a day to get the software. Small computer shops should be able to do the same. Find a good price wherever and then call the local shop and order the software. This may not matter to you, but I like to keep my money in my community when possible.
