Since I have been using SQL Server, every data management was handled by script and the code itself within an application. In a new database, there won't be any application to support data entry. This will be populated by script. However, it might be nice to be able to update a specific field in a more convenient way than using a script all the time. I see SSMS has support for Edit Top 200 rows. Despite this allows us to update the data in a field, it doesn't allow us to save it. Why is it called Edit and allowing us to change the value if the save is not supported?
