Hi,
I was testing something as follows. I ran the application and then, when the application connected to the SQL Server DB, I took this DB off-line (in SSMS Task -> Take Offline).
But the application continued working. I was able to open a form/window without any problem.
Why?

UPDATE. I thought I was taking the DB off-line but apparently SSMS won't allow it when there is a connection to it.
