I have SQL Server Developers Edition on a local PC for testing purposes. It has Microsoft Database Access Engine 2016 installed. When looking into the data providers, it shows :

Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0
Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.16.0

However, when importing some Excel data, only the first one works. The second gives an "Access Denied" message. Both work on the server. However, on my local PC, I am trying to figure out why 16.0 doesn't work.
