>By the way I began working full time as a VFP developer / I.T. support guy. They told me it would take 1 year before being comfortable in their environment. I began working there 3 days a week (from february 2020 to october 2020) and now I'm there full time. (beginning october 2020) Not always easy but I learn very cool things as a VFP developer and as an I.T. guy.

Actually the cool places to work are usually cool while they are small. Then, being cool, they also be productive and churn out great code and the app sells well. Then someone becomes greedy, or some greedy guys throw money on the pile and promise that in two years we all get rich and go fishing. And they break the environment - the great thing into which they pour all that money turns out to be all wrong, you can't do it this way, you have to do it that way... Any natural internal organization that was built with the app is out the window and replaced with a hierarchy of guys who don't quite know the app, but are experts at bossing. And sometimes it's amazing how little money can give you control. Loan half a million (not invest, loan!) into a company already worth a couple of million, and you can hire and fire.

IOW, today's better offer may be tomorrow's training center.
