I agree.

I worked side by side with Mike for a few weeks about ten years ago, and my impression was that we got along very well. I have no idea why he has attacked me on several occasions later, I don't remember ever having said or written a bad word to him or about him. But that's history, and mostly forgotten. I may have disagreed with him, and we may have had some technical arguments, but that's no reason to lose a friendship. I consider Mike as a friend, and it makes me sad to understand that he doesn't feel the same way.

I have been very careful lately not to write a single word in threads where he has posted, to avoid upsetting him. But now I think things have gone way too far. Maybe this corona pandemic has kept him isolated for too long, people react differently.

If Mike reads this, I invite him to have a friendly video chat more or less anytime soon. If others want to join in, the better. He should have my private email address, I don't do much to hide it.
