>>>Mike, you've lost the benefit of the doubt here. You are babbling. You are acting like a baby. You have lost all perspective.

>>I worked side by side with Mike for a few weeks about ten years ago, and my impression was that we got along very well. I have no idea why he has attacked me on several occasions later, I don't remember ever having said or written a bad word to him or about him. But that's history, and mostly forgotten. I may have disagreed with him, and we may have had some technical arguments, but that's no reason to lose a friendship. I consider Mike as a friend, and it makes me sad to understand that he doesn't feel the same way.

>>I have been very careful lately not to write a single word in threads where he has posted, to avoid upsetting him. But now I think things have gone way too far. Maybe this corona pandemic has kept him isolated for too long, people react differently.

>>If Mike reads this, I invite him to have a friendly video chat more or less anytime soon. If others want to join in, the better. He should have my private email address, I don't do much to hide it.

Regarding Mike, I'll notify you if he accepts my invitation.

Where I live, roughly 60 miles south of Oslo, we don't have midnight sun. But like today, the sun sets at 22:32 and rises tomorrow at 04:04, and after all, you need some hours to sleep.

Talking about Norwegian golfers, a close relative of mine was a very good golfer when he was in his teens about fifteen years ago, and played on our national team. Once his mother, who didn't use to play, played a round anyway to pass time while his son was exercising with his private trainer. But when she got a hole in one, he immediately lost all his inspiration, and stopped playing. To be fair to him, he had considered quitting for some time already, since he thought that it took up too much of his time.
