If it's a one-time access for product installation, you should be able to do it within the TeamViewer trial period. Installing and using it on your end (the "remote") is very easy. But if you need ongoing access from time to time someone would need to pay for the product (personal use is free, business is not).

If they suggested TeamViewer they may already have a license so they can install it in host mode on the VM for your ongoing use - maybe you could ask them.
