>>Sure, 0,00000034 seconds is twice 0,00000017 seconds. They're both laughably small compared to whole seconds, not to mention something like six or twelve hours a week (my rough estimate to the time we have wasted on these threads).

>You're not even looking at the code that matters, which is the part where a cursor is involved. If you don't want to use mdot, fine. No one should be attacking me for speaking facts, as that washout Walter does.

I'd beg to differ here. He's not attacking you, he's defending himself, like many others here. Swim upstream these threads and check who called whom what first.

>>But if belief in the supreme importance of mdot over everything else is required, then okay, consider me under anathema... I was never a believer anyway.

>The problem is not my evangelizing.

Any evangelizing is a problem, yours is no exception. May I sum it in least words? "Mdot good? Yes. The most important thing in fox code? No.". Your choice to lose sleep over it, mine it never was.

>The problem is that some humans are so stupid they will ignore data just for their preferences. Regardless of miniscule or not, I do not deserve that butthead Walter's constant attacks because I point out FACTS. I and others choose to use mdot but according to Walter washout, we're all WRONG. I asked him to layoff and he refused. This will continue until he goes to hell.

Dunno, I don't believe in hell. What I remember him saying is that the trouble with not using mdot can be avoided by a naming scheme (which you'd need anyway) and also that rigorously using mdot won't save you from certain kinds of trouble. So it's neither a must-have-or-else-app-crashes, nor does it solve ALL the problems of the kind.

>He uses mdots in case someone has a field called cn. If you are unaffected by mdot, then why bother me? I am not a flatheaded flatearther anti-vaxxer, like some around here.

I'm sorry for having created twenty threads about mdot. I won't do that anymore.
