It's all a charade. By CDC own analysis masks have made, at most, a 2% reduction in spread but possibly much less depending on error margins. Lock-downs did not slow it down. Surface contact is now not considered a highly transmissible route after all and all the wiping stuff down has helped little. Just look it all up on the CDC website.

And now we have our rulers and other unelected elites prancing around drinking cocktails and champagne at the G7 (your tax dollars hard, hard at work) while they buddy-buddy mask-less including directly in front of the 95-year old British queen. But it's a punishable offense if you don't wear a mask while swimming in the sea in Spain. You can't make this up if you tried.
