Moving it to safe folder is OK, but any attempt rebuild the projects can result in errors if they reference any of the FFC classes; that live under the VFP folder. This also causes a problem if the developer tries to use them in the own projects as is. Copying them to a local folder in the development folder ( IMO ) violates any reusability of class libraries. Besides, the permission issue on the VFP folder was introduced with Win10. I don't recall it being there in Win8.

It is there for ages. Maybe you run Windows as admin before, or set the access sometimes. I moved mine out of the Program folder - where no source, in special changeable, belongs. If you really need it there, unzip to a different folder and copy the result using elevated rights - but elevate only while copying. Even Linux freaks would sudo instead of elevating permanent.
Create the changes you need outside programs folder and copy apps using elevation. never ever elevate rights on programs folder permanent
