1) This dodges the original article which quotes a medical doctor who is on the UK SAGE Committee = UK Covid Response Advisory Committee to UK Gov. He clearly states that surgical masks and cloth masks are useless and that is what most everyone is using. And I know of no EU country or the UK that has mandated or even suggested the N95 as the recommended mask. Have you got a link to CDC or FDA website recommending or mandating N95?

2) CDC does not recommend general public wear N95's - CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky is recommending the general public not to wear them: "They're very hard to breathe in when you wear them properly," Walensky said. "They're very hard to tolerate when you wear them for long periods of time." The N95 masks are really designed for first responders. Dr. Walensky, as well as Dr. Anthony Fauci, are still saying people should wear a mask, but say the general public doesn't need to wear the N95 ones because they're uncomfortable and hard to breathe in.

So apparently not everyone got the message, including the CDC.
