Funeral homes and coffins business is probably a good business but not because of covid which has a very high survivability rate especially in under 70s in decent health. But they might be a decent business because of the aging demographic of the US and many western countries. The baby boomers are nearing the end of their lives. However, like most investing, as soon as there is a margin you will get competition driving prices and profits down. Neither business has much of a barrier to entry.
