Well then ad-free were also smoke signals, jungle telegraph and Morse code... But anything that could convey a larger sentence or an image was destroyed. I think the reason the web is still alive is that there are spam filters and ad blockers.

I know the guy. We'd ask him for an offer - he was our supplier sometimes - and he'd fax that, two pages, other stuff he would like to sell, three pages. Page six - he's also selling fax paper.
