I'd almost bet on that. Since form 2 is not modal, it is entirely possible. Brain death is bad, bad, bad!!!
Wheres the code that references _SCREEN.ActiveForm? If it's in the 2nd form's init, or the init of one of its member objects, active form will still refer to the form that's currently active. _SCREEN.ActiveForm won't change until you've called the Show method of the new form. If the code is somewhere within the form, just use Thisform instead of _SCREEN.ActiveForm.Mike,
