Cold Fusion, as we discussed earlier, is using an ODBC technology which consist of a set of extended HTML tags recognized by the HTMLODBC driver.

It is not a program generating HTML but the driver itself which mean we can't control the entire concept of it. For example, when someone does a Universal Thread login, there is about 800 lines of codes being executed here and there. Lots of conditions, functions, etc. are being executed. By having a database system controlling the generated output, you can then control the way it will be outputed.
