Xander Schauffle and Nelly Korda heard the US national anthem play when they accepted the gold medals for golf in the 2021 Olympics.
Xander was staying with his mother's Japanese parents during the events. His German/French dad, Stephan is the only golf coach Xander has ever had.
Nelly and her sister, Jessica, (both are exceptionally tall... I call them the Twin Towers) are descendants of Czech immigrants and somehow both of them have crafted golf swings that we can only dream of.
