Well it’s time for me to move on. I’ve been on this forum for about 25 years, I guess (maybe more), but recently I have read posts which I find no way to middle ground with. I’m sure I’ve just become a thorn here and there is no point in that.

I’ve learned a lot and enjoyed a lot of the commentators here. Some brilliant people for sure. In all the years I have been here I only had one genuinely bad experience; got ripped by a fellow UT’er in the US for a few thousand dollars that I paid up-front for a project but got nothing back for. He quickly disappeared from the site after that. Too bad, I liked him! C’est la vie I suppose.

I’ve tried to contribute where I could and am happy to answer any questions relating to WinDev, WebDev, and WinDev Mobile (we just recently built our first mobile/tablet app complete with local database handling, GPS handling, QRCode scanning, controlling the camera, communicating with a VFP database on a Windows server, and various other “neato” things all built into WinDev Mobile. A big thanks to Michel without who the UT would never have been. Michel, I have bought a new subscription for old time’s sake and as a small thank you. Give it to someone you think needs it.
