And for all about Bush I didn't like, he was correct. It was in U.S. interests to fight anywhere that Al-Q was being given safe haven.

My wife brought up a point I had forgotten out - the White House gave CNN (and other media outlets) a tongue-lashing for how much CNN reacted to that COVID study out of Provincetown (especially considering that some of the numbers they quoted for transmission rates were flat out wrong). She wondered how much of CNN's recent coverage is "revenge reporting". So it makes me wonder if CNN would have been piling on Biden the last few days, had the previous issue not occurred.
