Left talk show radio does not exists in the USA. There is NPR that I listen to. It is a left-wing but it is not a talk show. The interesting part about the talk show is that you can listen to average people expressing their opinion. Not some political pundits. And, btw, people who call and listen to the right-wing/conservative talk show are middle class people. And there are millions of conservative people in the USA. These are not wealthy people. Or, not super wealthy people. Wealthy and super wealthy people are busy watching the stock market :)

As to why left-wing talk shows do not exists, my opinion is as follows. The only way a commercial enterprise like a radio would exist in the free market economy, is when people with the disposable income will listen to. So that the producers can sell the air time to advertisers. But for whatever reasons, the liberals would not listen to other liberals expressing their opinion :) So, the fact remains that only the conservative radio talk shows exist.

Funny thing is that many of my liberal friends listen to the conservative radio. They may disagree with many opinions expressed there. But they like how the opinions are expressed. So, someone makes money. Which, IMHO, is great.

For the record, I am not getting any money or have any ulterior motives to promote the conservative radio :)
