Yes, by that, I meant a CHAR. As for the field content that I try to send to Excel, it is a VARCHAR(MAX). It contains several lines delimited with a carriage return. Sent as is, Excel will spread that over several rows, when the paste is done, which is normal. If we are in Excel, when entering the data, we can use Alt_Enter to force a carriage return inside the cell itself. This is the equivalent I am trying to achieve.
