Yes. We're using the WestWind Client Tools library to handle the work of connecting to the Salesforce REST API and also to manage JSON serialization. The results have been satisfactory so far. One nice thing is that the Salesforce REST API allows you to run simple queries against the SF database using the "/services/data/v51.0/query/" endpoint.
