I need to run my foxpro application in a environment with more than 10 users so i put the dbf files on a ubuntu file server.
I need to scan a directory on the file server from a windows PC, to see if there are temporary files created by the users.
What happens is that the file is created but the adir function takes several seconds before seeing them. It answer 0 files.
I tried to create a file and run the adir directly from the user pc and the command works fine.
It looks like Ubuntu hides the folder content for a while.
