All the databases are set to multi user. This has always been the setting everywhere. Since recently, the only way I can do a restore is to switch to single user. The location of the restore is from my local PC. I even restarted SQL Server service and nothing else is querying the server. Then, I execute the restore and it always cannot get access to the database in exclusive mode. This has worked for years.
