As per Microsoft, SharedManagementObjects.msi is deprecated since 2017. Apparently, we cannot get an installation package for this one. Everything has to be done through a NuGet package. This installation was taking 4 seconds to be done before. Now, when I read the doc, it seems we have to go through Visual Studio (DEV or SERVER?) and spend a lot of times doing numerous actions.
I have installed SQLSysClrTypes.msi for 2019. At least, that one is still supported.
What would be the simpler approach to use to install the SQL Management Object?

Beginning with SQL Server 2017 SMO is distributed as the Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlManagementObjects NuGet package to allow users to develop applications with SMO.
