In my case they certainly have - I got my shots and the booster from the VA.
I'm indebted to the VA for reaching out to me and other vets to get the vaccine and the booster.
I'm glad they keep records in case I lose mine.
I'm at a loss to see how the VA's or anyone else' possession of the information could be anything but beneficial.
