There's little question that in a number of cases, past infection provides sufficient natural immunity. Not all the time, but it's certainly there.

Here's the problem - the concept of "conflation" has reached new highs in our country.

The U.S. government has been extremely hesitant to admit this (natural immunity) - for fear it will give credence to the insane idea of, "Just go out and get infected, then you'll be fine". And sadly, there *are* jackasses out there (and they ARE jackasses) who are OK with getting it.

I am tripled-vaxxed and would do it again, even if I knew I previously had COVID. I'm nearly 57 and former diabetic, though all my numbers have been good for a few years. But I know people who survived COVID and are fine, and they stopped after 1-2 shots. I truthfully have no compelling argument to make against them.

The U.S. government has also discouraged people from getting antibody tests - once again, because they don't want to send the wrong message.

I am goddamn sick to death of this continuous scenario where Side A will exhibit stupid behavior, and Side B will withhold/water down facts for fear that any acknowledgement will give an air of respectability to Side A.
