You could soften it a bit:
"Happy palindrome day, everyone, except Americans and Nerds"
{^2022.02.22}, or 220222 in shorthand Excel for instance
BUT
at least in shorthand Nerds will get one in Nov 22nd this year
with most Europeans using short dates
